  • First Light Ministries -- First Light is a program of confidential, practical assistance to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender persons in the face of a society that oppresses and denies them the dignity and worth that rightfully belong to all God's creation. It offers a spiritually grounded counter to the notion that homophobia is supported--even mandated--by Christian scripture, and that hatred and bigotry are appropriate and acceptable Christian responses to other human beings.

  • Presbyterian AIDS Network (PAN) is one of 10 networks of the Presbyterian Health Education & Welfare Association (PHEWA). PHEWA is a related ministry of the National Ministries Division, Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).   • That All May Freely Serve -- T.A.M.F.S. focuses on a national effort to give voice to those disenfranchised by the Church's policies toward ordination of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered persons and to educate others regarding biblical and theological connections supporting full inclusion.   • Voices of Sophia is a community of women and men in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) that affirms feminist/womanist/mujerista theologies and seeks to be faithful to God's Spirit in our lives. We call the church to reclaim the fullness of God's image, embrace the diversity of the world, work for justice and inclusiveness in church and society, and celebrate the voices and gifts of women. Voices of Sophia sponsors national and regional gatherings, as well as an annual breakfast at General Assembly. Ecumenical partners are invited to join.
