The Capitol Hill Presbyterian Church is a small community of Christians united by God's call to grow together and do God's work in the world. Located in the shadow of the U.S. Capitol, the church is committed to ministering to all persons in our urban setting, the decision makers as well as the victims of poverty. For the most part, our members are busy, well-educated people who value opportunities to get together for worship, study, mission work, a meal and a laugh. Our church is a place for individuals and families, including a growing number of children, to discover God's grace and to be nurtured by the Holy Spirit. Our members share a strong commitment to social justice. Our challenge is to expand the scope of our mission while continuing to nurture the spiritual life of our members.
