In harmony with its 120 year tradition of openness and inclusiveness dating back to 1877 when it welcomed immigrants and their children on Manhattan's West Side, the Trinity Presbyterian Church proudly proclaims itself to be a Welcoming and More Light Church that provides opportunities for full participation and service in its life and ministry to gay and lesbian persons. Sharing in and witnessing to God's love is the privilege of All. We choose our leaders and ordain our Deacons and Elders based on the content of their character and Christian experience and not by worldly categories that divide and harm people. In Christ there are no barriers what so ever!
