| Description: |
A week for LGBTQ families, youth and their straight allies.
This week is designed to provide both inter-generational and age specific activities. In the mornings, adults will have the opportunity to be engaged in conversation with our discussion leader, Carolyn Ford, while kids will be engaged in a program co-planned by young adult counselors that incorporates trust building activities, discussion, arts and crafts and games.
The afternoons will include large group activities like canoeing, hiking and swimming in local state parks as well as arts and crafts, games and some free time to enjoy the Stony Point Center property.
Evenings will return to a traditional summer camp experience with star gazing, music night, skit night, and of course camp fires.
Sunday, August 1 dinner (5pm) through Friday, August 6 lunch (noon).
Cost is $450.00/person ($300.00/person 16 and under), $1500.00/family of four. |
