More Light Collection

The More Light Collection is a lending library of over 400 books and video resources which congregations and More Light chapters in presbyteries, seminaries and colleges have found helpful for congregational development, small group enrichment, and education for adults, youth and children.

 Items in the Collection are available for loan to those who have made payment in advance to cover shipping costs.  The collection is cross-indexed in 25 search categories and also may be searched by title, author and media type.

The Collection is managed by a committee representing More Light Presbyterians and SOURCE, an ecumenical resource center located in Chevy Chase, Maryland.  SOURCE houses over 8000 print and media resources, including curricula. The collection is a reflection of their partner denominations: Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) Capital Area; Church of the Brethren, Mid-Atlantic District; Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, Metro DC Synod; Presbyterian Church (USA), National Capital Presbytery; and the United Church of Christ, Potomac Association.
