We Are a Story-Telling People. MLP Communications Survey. |
|
Thursday, January 07 2010 @ 08:03 AM
As we begin 2010, we'd like to invite you to help shape MLP Communications by completing an online survey. Your voice matters and we appreciate your feedback and ideas. Your participation will help strengthen our communications and therefore enable us to achieve LGBT justice and equality. To say thank you for taking the survey, you will have the opportunity to participate in a drawing for the pro-LGBT film, "For The Bible Tells Me So". The survey ends on Friday, January 22.
We are a story-telling people. We have life-giving stories to share with each other. We have faith stories to share with our Church and world. Communication and education are central to who we are as More Light Presbyterians. Effective, heart-felt and authentic communication is the life-line of every community and particularly for any national organization with a big mission like ours. As a national grassroots organization working to achieve spiritual, ordination and marriage equality for LGBT people and their families in the life, ministry and witness of the Presbyterian Church (USA), we deeply value the voices of all of our members and supporters. The possibilities for communication, connecting, sharing messages, telling our stories seem endless now with emerging technologies. I am deeply grateful for the incredible work that so many faithful people have done over the years to create and enhance MLP's communications.
We are so fortunate to have Antony Hebblethwaite serving now as our Operations Coordinator. Antony recently served in a similar position with the Reconciling Ministries Network, United Methodist Church. He did exemplary work in communications with RMN and he brings his passion for LGBT justice, expertise and experience to MLP. Antony has developed this Communications Survey to give you a chance to share your ideas and feedback with us about our communications. I hope that you will fill out this survey. Just five minutes of your time will make a big difference. Thank you for your participation and don't forget to enter your name in the drawing for the pro-LGBT film "For The Bible Tells Me So". Together we are building a Church for all God's people.
With Gratitude,
Michael J. Adee Executive Director & Field Organizer
