 New Castle Presbytery: Delaware and the Eastern Shore of Maryland
On January 24, New Castle Presbytery voted overwhelmingly to affirm Ordination Amendment 08-B by a vote of 82 YES, 48 NO.
New Castle Presbytery describes itself: "We are 55 congregations and connected ministries on a mission to share God's hope for the world!" Thank you, New Castle Presbytery, you are truly fulfilling your mission to share God's hope by affirming the vision of a Church for All that has been offered to us by our 218th General Assembly.
Special thanks to the New Castle MLP Chapter and all those working to end discrimination against LGBT Presbyterians and their families now. You are an inspiration. We want to alert all of you working in local presbyteries to pass 08-B to be paying attention to the "No Action" efforts in your presbytery and be ready to address them.
