 Today Des Moines Presbytery voted YES on the 218th General Assembly's Ordination Amendment 08-B. The vote was 52 - 37 - 4. So, that's 52 Yes, 37 No with 4 abstentions.
The supporters of LGBT equality calling for the end of discrimination now in the Presbyterian Church (USA) against our lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender sisters and brothers fought back the "take no action" tactic by a vote of 40 to 53.
